In the Ukrainian city will close all pharmacy

In the Ukraine by the end of this year will be the elimination of all pharmacy kiosks that operate in cities.

This at a press conference in Kiev, said the chairman of the State Service of Ukraine on Drugs Alexey Soloviev.

"We have brought about changes in licensing terms, which provide for liquidation, the phenomenon of pharmacy", - he said, noting that Ukraine is the only country where drugs are sold in kiosks.

As reported by Interfax-Ukraine , Solovyov also said that Ukraine is 6.5 thousand subjects, carries on business relating to the implementation of medicines. They sell drugs over 22.5 thousand places - pharmacies, pharmacy items and booths - and 3 of them are just thousands of pharmacy.

According to Solovyov, 80% of pharmacies today are in the city. According to the changes in licensing terms, retail kiosks in rural areas - a total of about 600 - will continue their work, but they changed the requirements for the trade area, as well as paid more attention to staff development and storage conditions of medicines.

Solovyov said that Ukraine has the highest rate of access to pharmacy items - 1 point to 2.4 thousand people. In Denmark the figure is 1 in 17 thousand people, in Poland - 1 point to 6 thousand people.
