Surgery

Surgery aims at removing the tumor and assess its seriousness and scope.
Lymph nodes near the tumor are analyzed immediately.

The surgical techniques being less invasive, preserves the intervention increasingly affected part by scraping the tumor.

* For small well localized tumors, laparos copy allows for such small openings and cause less postoperative complications.
* A single ablation may be sufficient for some cancers, such as the skin slowly evolving.
* Surgery is usually followed by other treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy to prevent recurrence and the onset or development of metastases.
