The sun damage
Heat and UV radiation are the two main components of the sun. Two sources of problem also. It is not necessary to recall the effects of the recent heat wave in France to warn the public about the danger from heat. In times of high heat, proper hydration is necessary. The absorption of about 2 liters of fluid per 24 hours seems a good average so that organs and tissues are properly hydrated , and that blood volume is correct (thus avoiding the falling blood pressure). Regarding the UV, the danger is more insidious. On the problems "minor", it notes the appearance of wrinkles, pigmented spots, a breach of color. Keratinocytes, cells of the epidermis, eventually form a "horny" in place of normal skin. Similarly, the fibers of collagen and elastin fibers, providing the elasticity of the skin, collapsed under the effect of UV rays. No need, when you're a "senior" to accelerate the aging of skin! Much worse, exposure to UV rays increases the risk of skin cancer. What is true for children is also for adults, experience does nothing to change the case. A tan is a little less risky than pale skin, but barely. It has just been exposed to the sun longer. Cancers are usually found on malignant melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Malignant melanoma is one of the worst existing cancers. When it is detected too late, there is a risk of metastasis, against which no effective treatment is at present. Furthermore, the risk of skin cancer is a cumulative risk which is added from one year to another. Think about it!
