A child at the table always take a step ahead

To stay calm, it will be useful to understand the characteristics of change and eating behaviors that occur at different stages of growth of your child. Generally, it is when a child begins to walk or is about to enter school the harder it is to eat.

For example, toddlers are more likely to be tired late in the day, especially when they have grown up a bit, and are less inclined to make their naps: this can make the dinner more difficult than the other meals. Their behavior is more changing, they can refuse a food one day and ask again the next day. When you understand their behavior, you'll be able to keep your cool and roll with the punches more easily.

When he reached preschool age, your child will probably have adopted some habits, he will prefer sweet foods and he will be involved in the choice of food. In step preschool children growth slows down and reduces the appetite they experienced at the next growth spurt.

Being aware that the eating habits of your child is normal and consistent with the growth process you will be under the impression of being "postponed" and you respond more patiently while keeping one step ahead.
